All solid wood guitars usually cost a little more than the price you mention. May I, respectfully, suggest how to view this situation in such a way as to make an informed decision? Please, if a new, all solid wood guitar is an imperative, wait until a higher price can be absorbed painlessly. If waiting is not an option, perhaps an 'experienced' guitar might be a consideration. Many guitar shops take guitars in trade. Perhaps one of those would suit? At the mentioned pricepoint, Takamine guitars have laminate backs and sides. This, in fact, makes little difference to the timbre of the instrument....it's the TOP that counts. A solid top ALWAYS sounds better than a laminate top. Beware of purchasing at a Pawnbroker's. Buy only from a reputable guitar or music shop. Good luck....!
