Martin Acoustic Guitars: D35 Left Handed
by Guitar Guru

”Left-Handed Guitar that Resonates Like No Other”The Martin D-35 Left-Handed Guitar combines quality construction and eye-catching aesthetics to produce a left-handed guitar anyone would be proud to own.
Made with a
solid spruce top and rosewood back and sides, the left-handed D-35 has a three piece rosewood back that gives its already rich and resonant tone an added depth and punch; bringing out the bass notes to make for an excellent rhythm playing instrument. But in spite of the bass note emphasis, the treble is not lacking.
The Martin D-35 uses a special lighter 1/4” top brace to help give added oomph to the treble notes in a successful attempt to equal the intense bass. So loud is the sound that this instrument produces, however, that flatpicking can cause it to “boom” to the bass that can overpower the clear resonance of its other notes. If you are a fingerstyle player, however, you will find that the D-35 lends itself well to your style and brings needed volume to fingerstyle playing, especially if it is in solo work.
Just for fun … compare the sound and volume of the unamplified D35 to any other amplified guitar. You’ll be amazed at how favorably this beauty compares and wants to be heard!
At <$2,300 (including Martin Deluxe Hardshell case) the Martin D-35 Left-Handed Acoustic Guitar is no cheap acoustic guitar, but it is a solid investment for the left-handed player who wants to make an impact on the musical community.
