British guitarist John Martyn produced an album in 1973 called Solid Air that has been rated as one of the best chill-out albums of all time by Q magazine. It was also included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die by Robert Dimery. But the Song Solid Air on the same album is one of my all-time favorites.
Watch the way that John Martyn creates magic with his fingers; you can enter an entirely different world when you listen to this piece and you will see why I consider this piece to be one of my favorite pieces of guitar music.
