Gibson Acoustic Electric: Blues King

”A Blues Guitar You’ll Fall In Love With”The Gibson Blues King Acoustic Electric Guitar combines the best of Gibson’s 1930s sweet-tone style with today’s modern electronics to give you a flawless amplification of a vintage sound that will have you falling in love with guitar playing all over again.
Gibson has a reputation for making some of the best acoustic guitars available and the Blues King Acoustic Electric Guitar is no exception. Built with a
solid spruce top and bubinga back and sides, the Blues King has a resonance that you can feel in your fingertips and a volume that belies its small-bodied build.
While the volume is good, the projection is not exceptional. The Blues King does not have the natural projection ability that larger guitars enjoy. But the built-in electronics take care of that flaw allowing even its softest notes to be heard across crowded rooms and to the backs of auditoriums.
Built on a L-00 body, this sweet little number has a rather curvy shape that fits well in your lap and its extra shallow body fits neatly against your torso, a decided plus for younger and more slightly built players. While the price (~$2,299) is a bit on the high side, the overall quality of this little number makes it feel as if you are getting the better end of the bargain.
