An Affordable Acoustic-ElectricIf you are you looking for a decent sounding acoustic-electric guitar that won’t break the bank, then the Epiphone AJ-100CE Acoustic-Electric Guitar may be just what you are looking for.
Acoustic guitars have a sound all of their own, but if you want to be practical, there are certain situations where a straight laced acoustic guitar just doesn’t cut it; especially when you are playing in public and need to be heard above a band or over the noise of a crowded room. It is at these times when an acoustic electric guitar comes in handy.
The AJ-100CE is a good toned guitar with a NanoFlex pickup so that you can be heard no matter what is happening. The NanoFlex pickup is a great little invention that has an incredibly thin profile and a flexibility that you don’t find in most pickups. It uses seven layers of sensor material in order to pick up every nuance of your instrument and transmute it into sound that can be heard by everyone.
The guitar body itself is built on an Advanced Jumbo body and has a select spruce top and mahogany body. While the sustain and depth of tone are not as rich and full as that of a solid top guitar, the sound is still very good given the construction quality of the instrument and what is usually to be expected in this particular price range (just ~$149!).
If you’re going to be investing in an acoustic electric you are going to want to protect your purchase, and that means a guitar case or gig bag. There is a very nice gig bag that will fit your AJ 100CE, and that is the
Standard Dreadnought Guitar Gig Bag (Black) at just $29.99. This gig bag, while designed for dreadnoughts, fits the Advanced Jumbo very nicely and has a good deal of padding that will make it a great choice for storing and protecting your Epiphone AJ-100CE Acoustic-Electric Guitar.
