Mind you the Martin is made of solid Mahogany which gives it a far richer and warmer sound the Breedlove, but the Breedlove is about as far above its contemporaries as the Martin is above the Breedlove. Another point is that the Breedlove C200/SMP acoustic guitar at just ~$349 costs a good $800 less than the Martin which means that you don’t have to wait until you are independently wealthy in order to enjoy the richness of sound that the C200/SMP can bring into your life.
