”The Ultimate Eco-Friendly Concert Guitar”The Breedlove Northwest Classic Acoustic Guitar is the eco-friendly guitarist’s dream come true. Knowing that there is nothing like crafting a guitar out of woods that are indigenous to the area where they are built, Breedlove has crafted this beauty mostly out of woods that are only found in the Pacific Northwest.
Made with a
solid myrtlewood body and
solid Sitka spruce top, the Breedlove Northwest Classic is a testament to the beauty inherent in crafting a musical instrument out of locally grown materials. As an added bonus it even has inlays on the fingerboard that have been inspired by tribal totem images of the Northwest Indian tribes. In fact, this is such a good looking guitar that you might find it hard to actually bring yourself to play it, but would rather display it. But if you do choose to play it, you will be pleasantly surprised.
But not only is the Northwest Classic beautiful to look at, it also has a richness of tone that you will be hard pressed to find in other guitars of its price range. Thanks to the myrtlewood, this guitar has exceptionally deep bass tones as well as the overlying brightness of maple. Exceptionally balanced, this instrument rates extremely high in guitar reviews and will keep a definite smile on your face.
Built on a concert style body, and sporting a soft cutaway to give you easier access to those higher frets, the Breedlove Northwest Classic acoustic guitar comes with a
deluxe hardshell case at no extra charge. And while its ~$4,686 price tag may be a bit off-putting for some people, keep in mind that you would have to trade up to the
Martin Custom Artist Series 000Cmr Steve Miller Acoustic-Electric (nearly $800 more) to find the same kind of value and tone.
