Built on a 000 body, the BR143A has hand carved parabolic top braces which, when combined with the choice of woods, lends to the BR143A’s authentic woody tone; the kind of guitar which, when you hear it played makes you say “now THAT is what a guitar is supposed to sound like!” Its curvy body makes it easy to cuddle up to and projects surprisingly well for a guitar of this size though it may not do well in large crowds without amplification. It also tends to get drowned out if it is used with other, bigger guitars.

At ~$699 the Blueridge BR143A is not a cheap guitar, but it does play extremely well. In fact you’d have to trade up to a
